During his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, playing Settlers and teaching Rocky new tricks.
Andrew Vincent - Camp Director
Andrew has served at Twin Lakes since August of 2000. Planning and directing all aspects of the summer camp program as well as managing design, video and print materials for promotional purposes are the focus of his attention within the overall ministry of the camp and conference center. Andrew spent his pre-college years in French Camp, MS where his love for camping ministry and music began. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Mississippi, where he graduated in 1999 before marrying his beautiful wife. Andrew and Michelle have three precious children, Ethan, Anna and Allison. They are also members of Lakeland Presbyterian Church, in Brandon, MS where he has also served as Choral Coordinator since May of 2007.
Tuan La - Hosting Director
Tuan, Paula, Johnny, and Aubrey Sue live at Twin Lakes where Tuan supervises the hosting of guest groups during the conference season and also plans the program for Twin Lakes Summer Camp. Tuan and Paula are both from south Mississippi and became hooked on camp ministry long ago. After graduating from LSU in Computer Engineering, Tuan married Paula Sue while she was finishing school at USM. After being married several years (and working summers at Twin Lakes), Tuan moved to Twin Lakes in 2005 to puruse year-round the type of camping ministry where God had such a profound impact upon his life. The La's are members of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS and also work with the children's ministry at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church in Mount Olive, MS.
Zack Owens - Assistant Camp Director
Originally from Zachary, LA, where he grew up in Plains Presbyterian Church (PCA), Zack came to Jackson, MS in 2004 for his undergraduate education. After the invitation of a fellow student, Zack applied to work at Twin Lakes the summer after his freshman year – and never spent another summer away from camp. As a lifelong camper as a child and teen and having worked with children his entire life, the ministry of Twin Lakes became a God-given blessing for Zack. After 4 years on summer staff, Zack joined the full-time Twin Lakes team in Summer 2008 as the Assistant Camp and Program Director: assisting in the recruiting, hiring and discipleship of summer staff and preparing and planning the exciting program and activities of summer camp. In his free time he enjoys playing disc golf with Tuan, music (listening, playing, and leading worship), and reading non-fiction. Zack married Kristen, whom he awkwardly met on the 30’ platform of the Twin Lakes ropes course, in December 2008. Kristen is an Occupational Therapist and is from Madison, MS. They are both thrilled to be a part of the ministry at Twin Lakes.
Lisa Smith - Camp Registrar
Lisa Smith has been a member of the Twin Lakes family since 2000, where she registers campers and cheerfully greets guests of Twin Lakes. She and Neal have been married for 17 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Sally and Molly. Twin Lakes has become a major part of Lisa’s family life. Her daughters have come to camp here since they were old enough to attend and Sally has served as LIT for a year. Lisa has a very tight knit family and spends most of her time off with doing things with them. She grew up in Richland and graduated from Richland High School. Lisa and her family are members of First Baptist Church of Florence. Lisa spends her time away from work on school field trips, helping out at her daughters’ schools, reading, watching movies, and doing things with her family.
