Challenge Course Activities

The challenge course at Twin Lakes is divided into four specific activities with everything from teambuilding for the corporate group to a thrilling high ropes adventure for children as young as 6. Below is a brief description of each of these activities and a link for more information, guidlines and restrictions.

Low Challenge Course

The Low Challenge Course is designed to help assist in community development of a grou/team of people and to thelp them learn more about themselves, the nature of relationships, communication and teamwork. At Twin Lakes, we approach teambuilding from a Christian worldview. We will explore and learn the skills necessary for good teamwork and communication using activities that are physically and mentally challenging. Our Low Ropes Facilitators are trained to help you get the most out of the activities and to stay safe while having a great time. The Low Challenge Course is meant for older guests (high school age and up), that have the attention span and desire to learn and participate.

Rock Climbing

There are two heights on the Rock Climbing Tower; there is a 30 foot side and a 50 foot side. Rock Climbing can be used by virtually any group; age is not a limiting factor for this activity. Your facilitators will let you choose which you want to climb. You may even have time try your hand at both sides if your group has time.

Basic High Challenge Course

The Basic High Challenge Course is a high ropes activity that is meant for first-time or younger participants. We can accomodate guests as young as 6 years old on this course. As this course takes less time than the Advanced Course, we have larger groups go through the Basic Course so everyone can enjoy the challenge and rush of the ropes course. We will work with you to help you decide if the Basic or Advanced course is the right choice for your group.

Advanced High Challenge Course

The Advanced High Challenge Course is the most challenging, time consuming and staff intensive of the activities that we offer. It challenges both your fears and your physical strength. We have thoroughly trained staff to encourage and help you make it through. Age must be limited on the Advanced Course because of the difficulty level and time restrains. If you have questions please give us a call or email and we will answer your any questions you might have.

The challenge course activities are by reservation with Twin Lakes supervision only. It must be reserved far in advance in order to effectively facilitate the event. There are some dates on the calendar when it will not be possible to facilitate soem activities, but we will do everything we can to facilitate your needs.

Please do not explore or play on any of the challenge course elements without Twin Lakes supervision.

Twin Lakes provides transportation to and from Challenge Course Activities on the tractors and trailers that we use for the Hayless Hayride.
